Compared to most equine expenses Dental treatment is in fact extremely cheap. If your horse has not been the subject of regular dental care then the first treatment may be more expensive, as it may even necessitate the use of power tools to initially rebalance his or her mouth. This could cost in the region of £38 - £100 depending on exactly what requires correcting and how severe the problem is. However once restored to balance, all that is required every 6 months is a routine dental visit comprising: A full detailed examination and written report. Removal of sharp points Removal of any hooks which may have started to form Routine maintenance floating Total cost...........£38.00 or 60 euros in Europe |
